What is Eagle Claw Kung Fu?
Northern Eagle Claw Kung Fu is renowned for its self-defense techniques and its series of movement patterns called forms (kung fu forms), which are an essential part of the training. Through this practice, you enhance stability, flexibility, coordination, endurance, responsiveness, speed, and strength by utilizing all the muscles in your body to their fullest potential. Practitioners also develop precise bodily control, down to the smallest motor skills. To achieve this, they learn to cultivate the willpower of both body and mind, thereby increasing self-confidence and perseverance in daily life.
It is an excellent training for self-discipline. By practicing the movements, you become more aware of what is happening in your body, allowing you to better release everyday physical tension. Additionally, if you feel aggression arising, you learn to control it.
