Who is Levi Maulany?
The sport and mindset were instilled in me from a young age. Thanks to my father, Wim Maulany, I have been training in the Eagle Claw Kung Fu system (martial arts) since I was six years old. This sport has become an important part of my life, as it has taught me discipline, perseverance, self-control, and self-confidence—qualities that have helped me navigate daily life.
Afterward, I completed my training in General Security and began working in the security sector. Over the years, I gained extensive knowledge and experience, but I wanted to advance further in this field. I pursued additional training to become a Special Investigative Officer (BOA) and worked for a year with the municipality of Utrecht.
At some point, I sought a greater challenge in the social sector. I enrolled in the Social Care program (focused on specific target groups) and successfully earned my diploma. Following that, I worked as a sociotherapist, residential counselor, and group supervisor in various care and welfare organizations. Encouraged by others and driven by my own experiences, I eventually began working as a freelancer in both security and social care.
A constant throughout the years has been my dedication to Eagle Claw Kung Fu, which I have always practiced—especially in the mornings before work. This practice has consistently helped me maintain both physical and mental balance. Over time, I have grown, particularly within the international traditional Kung Fu community, and I am now a nationally certified instructor (LMA).
